D&D on Wirecutter too.

Earlier this month we noted that tabletop roleplaying and D&D was getting attention from A16Z. The Wirecutter is also getting in on the action with an introductory article about playing D&D online. They recommend all the tools you’ve probably already heard of: Roll20, DNDB, Wyrmwood, etc. Check it for a good overview if you’re new to playing online with friends or family.

They did also pull a rabbit or two out of their hats that I’d never heard of like the Field Notes D&D 5e Character Journal. I’d be interested in testimonials from players who’ve tried it.
